I just got the same issue with Gothenburg: https://www.streetferret.com/sf/allstreets?c=935611
I've made a bunch of updates to OSM and then used the Report a problem and clicked missing streets to update the city, but it is all blank. I've clicked missing streets again today, but still blank.
I did the same with another city "Skövde" and now that one is blank as well: https://www.streetferret.com/sf/allstreets?c=935485

I also see a lot of runs with "0% Processed". Even older runs.

Looks like I introduced a bug there, but all fixed now.  I've pulled up your map and I can see where that motorway has a gap where you made the edit 👍

Great! Yes. It looks really good. Now I can start to remove all those roads not safe for running :-)

I just force reloaded:
Mölndals kommun
Göteborgs Stad
Let me know how that looks.

Thanks. I'm checking now, but both those cities are blank for me now. Other cities are working.

I've made some changes to the inclusion/exclusion criteria.

StreetFerret will now exclude roads that are tagged highway=trunk AND have both:
sidewalk=no
shoulder=no

In addition, motorroad=no will also be excluded.

I would recommend that the roads in question be tagged as having no sidewalk and no shoulder, as there should be no question of the verifiability of that tagging.

You can use the following link to test out what StreetFerret will include for a particular city:
http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/12Id

Note that you will have to change the city name from "Boston" to the city of your choice.  Hope this solves the problem (and.. makes OSM more accurate in Sweden!)

That sounds like something we can use. I've done a first edit just now and set sidewalk and shoulder to "no". We will see if anyone oppose to that and what will happen in StreetFerret.

It was an interesting discussion in the mailing list and there was also another Swede there verifying that walking is only forbidden on motorways and motorroads in Sweden.

II think setting the foot access to 'discouraged' might fit.  It adheres to the OSM documentation (deemed subjective where not physically signed).  These sections could (are?) excluded from the street index used.

That sounds like a good idea.

I've checked the documentation for the access tag and it says:
"A legal right of way exists (see yes) but usage is officially discouraged (e.g., HGVs on narrow but passable lanes). Only if marked by a traffic sign (subjective otherwise)."
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:access

What I've marked in bold could mean that it must be marked by a traffic sign that discourage access for certain traffic.
Is it ok with subjective access tags in OSM?

I understand. I will see if other tags in OSM can be used to remove roads that are unsafe and unsuitable for walking and running.

At least in Sweden it is allowed to walk and run on trunk roads, but they are not designed for it and the speeds are high. The standard are often similar to motorways. So it is probably wise to exclude trunk: 'highway' !~ 'trunk'
I can't tag them with foot = no since it is not forbidden by law to walk on them. I've already tried that in OSM but it was reverted and I got a lecture in how it works https://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/happy.png

Here is a road marked as "trunk" that I don't want to run on:

I can probably run in the median...or maybe if I do it in the middle of the night and jump over the fence to avoid any traffic...

Great bug report!
These should definitely be excluded, and I've pushed an update with that change.  For cities that have these, go ahead and use "Report Problem" and choose "missing streets", and it will re-load with the new ruleset.

Works great! Thanks for the quick fix.

All bus stops are counted as streets. Is that intentional?
In OSM they are marked as highway = "platform".

Here is an example from my city: https://www.streetferret.com/sf/street?u=9099988&c=935611&s=40024411
Hundreds of very very short lines and in zoomed out view it looks like dots.

Before I posted my previous post I reported the streets for "Orust kommun" as missing and when I now check "Orust kommun" it is up and running. Very quick. I guess the city indexer was just waiting to get something to work with.
